Poole Music Productions is a full-service music company that provides recording, transcription, commercial and pop/rock music composition services. In addition, we offer David Poole's College Level Guitar books, which far exceed the quality and content of the materials available on the market today. David, arguably one of the best guitar players in the country, frequently conducts guitar clinics throughout the Southeast. David and Lauren Poole compose music for performance, film and commercials, and perform in their own band, which can be seen at various venues around the Atlanta area.

David Poole can easily be called one of the greatest guitar players in the United States , possibly in the world.
He began playing guitar at the age of six. By the time he was 14, he had begun teaching at the Atlanta Institute of Music (AIM), substituting for Jimmy Herring (Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead). He studied under such guitar greats as Greg Howe, Paul Gilbert, Shawn Lane, Robin Ford, Vinny Moore, Jason Becker, Andy Timmons, and Steve Morse.
Not long after, he was sharing the stage with those same names including: Jimmy Herring, Scott Henderson , Steve Freeman, Jason Becker, Robin Ford, with David Benoit on piano, even playing with Albert Lee, who played with Elvis.
Still in his teens, David authored the curriculum and study guides for AIM's Guitar Program, which are currently used to teach Scales Classes Levels 1-4. Their quality rivals and even exceeds the books and curricula available from some of the great guitar programs in the country. |
An honor graduate student of Atlanta Institute of Music, David has been a long-standing faculty member and life-long resident of Atlanta . His musical interests span the spectrum of Rock, Jazz, Blues and Classical. His contemporary instrumentals have gained airplay on radio stations throughout the Southeast. He has written musical scores for films and played on numerous albums.
He is currently working on an album with his wife, Lauren Poole.

Born and raised in the Atlanta , Georgia metropolitan area, Lauren has been singing in front of audiences since the age of eight. Even at that young age, she had the pipes and timbre of an adult. Lauren Poole is known for the power she brings to her performances and her dramatic stage presence leaves no question about her ability to hold and gratify an audience. Her sound reflects a unique blend of Southern Rock, Country and the Blues.
Lauren has been around the entertainment industry for a long time. Not only was she represented by the Arlene Wilson Agency for a few years, but she also gained a great deal of experience in the music industry through her association with various songwriters and music video producers.
Today, Lauren contributes both her technical and creative talents to the business of Poole Music Productions. She transcribes lead sheets, works on recording projects, writes songs and supports the business of the company.
Together with her husband, David, she is composing and recording the songs they will release on their first album together.
